Alquerque is a classic tile-based board game for 2 players in which you have to eliminate all of your opponent's tokens. This intriguing free online game on Silvergames.com offers you a virtual version of the board game. Similar to chess or checkers, this game is about eliminating the opponent's tokens by trying to anticipate their moves. You can play this game against the CPU or challenge another player.
Each player starts with 12 equal tokens spread across the 5x5 board. The only free space will be the one in the middle, and the white tokens start the game. The goal is to move your tokens one space at a time, so that you can eliminate your opponent's tokens. To do this you will have to skip the space where the opponent's token is placed. If you eliminate a token, you can eliminate another one again in the same turn with your same token if possible. This means that you can win a game in a single turn, but first you must position your entire army strategically. Have fun playing Alquerque!
