It began as an unexpected indie surprise, but the Five Nights at Freddy's Games (FNAF) have grown into a respectable franchise for any connoisseur of scary games and small studio development. Here at Silvergames.com we've all learned to go to bed with our lights on, just in case one of the animatronic homicidal maniacs manage the leap out of our screens. That's a perfectly rational reason, right?
The FNAF series has stood the test of time, thanks to its unique and creepy atmosphere as well as its clever gameplay ideas. Strongly influenced by point-and-click games and adventure games of years past, FNAF games challenge both your nerves as well as your ability to think ahead, and out of the box. That is the only way you will be able to stay alive and beat this game. Recent studies show that games are far less likely to be completed, if you die. Because that's what might happen, if you don't manage to evade the bloodlust of these animatronic monsters trying to make your new security guard job the very last security guard job you'll ever have. But just because a game is really pants-darkening scary doesn't mean, you can't have fun, right?
It's just our luck that these FNAF games prove that you can have it all. Both fun, and the kind of tense gameplay that raises both your heart-rate and your adrenaline levels. Why not try them out yourself? Or are you... chicken?
